In Outline, Chart, Map and Treemap views there is a large black arrow in the bottom left corner; it points upwards in Map and Treemap views and left in Outline and Chart view. The purpose of the arrow is to allow the user to navigate 'up' one level of the 'virtual outline' of the document. At the top (cover/root) level the arrow is greyed out because it is not possible to navigate upwards any further.
Navigation 'downwards' depends on the view type:
- Outline. Open the disclosure triangle to the left of a note to expose its children.
- Map. Double-click on the grey area (viewport) of a note or agent container.
- Treemap. Double-click on the grey area of a note or agent container.
- Chart. Lower (contained) levels are already displayed - scroll right to view.
