The is no menu option to simply make a new 'user' composite, but it is possible via the following steps:
- Switch the current view to Map view and display the document's root-level map (or make a new tab, so configured)
- Add any of the build-in composites to generate a correctly configured
/Composites
container. - Drill down into the 'Composites' container.
- Add and name at least two new notes and move them together until they form a composite. When this happens a visible bounding line is drawn around the space containing all of the composited notes.
- Click on any note within the composite's bounding box (i.e. not in blank space inside the box). Notice a pen icon will appear top left of the composite box.
- Click the icon, and in the pop-over that appears, give the Composite a title.
- Now alter the number of notes, their titles ($Name), and do any other configuration needed
- The new composite is now ready to use.
To use the composite apply it to the current (map) view via any of the following:
- View context (right-click) menu 'Create Composite', then click the appropriate composite from the Composites sub-menu.
- Note menu, 'Add Composite', then click the appropriate composite from the Composites sub-menu.
