Colored text links. If ticked (default), link anchors in $Text are coloured as follows, reflecting standard web browser settings:
- Text link color. Colour for unvisited text links.
- Visited link color. Colour for already visited text links.
- Active link color. Colour for the active text link. It is not documented how Tinderbox determines this state - focus lies inside link anchor text?
Within Tinderbox, text links will be coloured (unless further modified) in the Text link color. Any links followed within the current Tinderbox session, i.e. whilst the TBX document remains open, are coloured in the Visited link color. The latter revert to using the normal text link colour in the next session.
Removing a link does not reset its old anchor text colour to the default.
Tinderbox never overrides your existing text colour with a link or visited-link colour unless the underlying text color is the default text colour. In other words, if text is not the default colour before a link is added no colour mark-up occurs.
