custom ping. In addition to the pre-configured publishing pings, you can define one of your own. There are two settings to make:
- Server. The URL of the server to be pinged. Default = 'http://rpc.weblogs.com/RPC2'
- Method. The ping method to be used. There is no documentation of which methods are supported. Default = 'weblogUpdates.ping'.
