A Tinderbox Reference File : Preferences : HTML : HTML template file |
HTML template file |
HTML template file. Use the Finder dialog to locate the export template to be used as the default template for HTML export; it will be used for all exportable notes that have no explicit template name set at note/macro code level. Tinderbox also uses the OS folder containing this template to look for any other templates specified in the export code. From v3.6.0, Tinderbox ships with the specimen templates stored internally within the application package. This means you can immediately access a few basic templates in a new TBX without having to manually set up a template folder as in the past. Of course, if you wish to use your own templates you will still need to set the template folder location manual before use. From v4.1.0 Tinderbox no longer tries to limit you to choosing text files* when selecting a default export template. Checking for text files caused problems for some users and offers relatively little benefit. (* i.e. files considered text by the Mac OS Finder). From v4.2.0 (corrected in v4.2.1) an internal template can be selected as the default. The pop-up list (also seen in the HTML view template selector) lists - in order - note templates, any files in the external folder holding the default template and Tinderbox internal templates. |
