Tinderbox Documentation And Other Resources

Tinderbox Icon

There are two primary forms of documentation for Tinderbox.

Prior to v4.0.0 the above documents were included in the appllications install DMG. From v4.0.0, both the above are included inside the application package and can thus be accessed from the Help menu. If it is desired to store/view either of these documents externally open the Tinderbox application package; Ctrl+/Right+click the Tinderbox application icon in Finder, select 'Show Package Contents' from the context menu, then in the new window open folders Contents -> MacOS -> doc. The documents can then be copied to any other location.

When the the Release Notes are opened from the Help menu, note that the contents can't be edited or altered - this includes copying note content. However, though you can't select text in a read-only note in the normal drag-select manner. Instead, either Cmd+drag a selection or use Cmd+A to select all the note's text. Then use Cmd+C to copy it. Alternatively, if doing a lot of copying, consider copying the Release Notes TBX to a location outside Tinderbox from where you will have normal edit control

Eastgate offers user-to-user help via the Tinderbox wiki at http://www.eastgate.com/wiki2/wiki.cgi?TinderboxWiki. Eastgate provides the wiki resource but anyone is welcome to post - either questions or help/information for others.

This resource - aTbRef- also available online at http://www.acrobatfaq.com/tbx/index.html, although it should be noted it is not an official Eastgate resource.
