This describes the note containing the note currently in focus. In Tinderbox there is only one parent note per child or set of siblings.
Note that a the 'parent' of an alias is not its container (note or agent). All aliases share a common parent - that of the original note.
There is currently no object that allows an individual alias to reference its own parent (i.e. container).
From v4.0.0, the agent object can be used to allow agent aliases to refer to their 'parent' rather than the parent of the original note on which the alias is based.
