Attributes System pane

This allows the user to view system attributes and change their default values. The latter is not recommended if you're still new to Tinderbox.

The left pane lists all system attributes for the current Tinderbox document (file); note read-only attributes that the user may not change are listed in italics and cannot be selected from the list.

If an attribute is selected, the Default value box shows the default value, if any.

Change button. This is designed to allow you to change the default value, for all new notes created after the change.

From v2.5.0, individual attributes can be dragged out onto a note window's attribute list to add to existing KeyAttributes. From v3.0.2 attributes can be dropped anywhere in a note window - useful if no attribute list is currently displayed.
