Since Tinderbox versions 5, Unicode is supported in note text ($Text) and all system/user attributes. In v5 and again in v6, the text engine was updated to give better support for Unicode, especially for double-byte languages (e.g. non-Roman alphabet languages). From version 6, all UI elements support Unicode display and input.
Data exported from Tinderbox will use Unix-style line ends, i.e. a line feed character. In Action code this is inserted as the string "\n"
.
