Shaped notes

Notes can be set to use a shaped icon in Map views. The chosen shape can be set via the Shape menu. As the value is stored in the Shape attribute, this means it can be set via action & rules, etc.

Shapes are still used when notes are displayed in the viewport of an agent or container.

Shape attribute values are ignored for agent, containers, and adornments. Thus a visible shape can only be set for a note with no children.

Eastgate advise: "Shapes are probably best reserved for special occasions, in order to emphasize exceptional or unusual notes."
