Create a Footnote

Bottom row, button #4. Click to create a new 'footnote' note linked to the selected text. Shift+click the icon to create the new note as a child of the currently selected note.

The footnote created is automatically linked both from the current note with a link of type 'note' and back from the footnote to the current note with a link of type 'note+'.
